Perhaps some oldish news i may have missed. Noel Fielding appears again as Richmond in the very last episode of series 4 in The IT Crowd. Episode 6 was aired on Friday. For anyone who missed it, you can watch the episode on the Channel 4 website (UK Viewers only) – here.

Noel Fielding is staging his second art exhibition in London next month with a little help from Kasabian.

The Mighty Boosh man is putting on Noel Fielding’s Summer Art Show at London’s oldest cake shop, Maison Bertaux on Greek Street, in Soho from July 5.

Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno has contributed an original soundtrack for an installation that will sit downstairs at the shop.

Noel is performing at Zoofest, the alternative arts festival. He will be appearing at the Savoy at Metropolis in Montreal, from 12th-17th July. Make sure to book your tickets here!

Journey Of The Children is a tour film, based around the duo’s Future Sailors show and focuses on the devotion they inspire in their fans.

Two screenings at the 92YTribeca NY cinema sold out last night, even before it was revealed that Barratt and Fielding would be there for a Q&A session. Here we have the trailer for the movie:

Julian Barrett and Noel Fielding are currently in NY through to June 13, recording their debut album at Electric Lady studios. The album is out this fall (details are expected to be announced any day now).

Noel has joined Steve Coogan and an all-star line-up, for Big Cheer for Amaze, in aid of Amaze a charity working with parents with children who have special needs and disabilities at Brighton and Hove.

The gig will take place on Thursday 17th June at the Brighton Dome. Doors will open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Tickets for the Toronto Just For Laughs Festival go on sale today for American Express Front of the Line members, and on May 17 for the general public.

The Sun claims that Noel Fielding was given a full body search by cops over a suspected drug deal.

The comic was spotted with an alleged dealer in Camden, North London.

Fielding, 36 – Vince Noir in the BBC comedy show – was NOT arrested but taken to a police station for a full body inspection. No drugs were found and he was released.

The 20-year-old man with him ran off and was later arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine.

Fielding has admitted drug abuse in the past but last year said he was now clean.

A source said: “Noel was given the full monty but nothing was found on him.”
